Here are some of the things we do:
1. We write letters to the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers and
other important people telling them why saving tigers should be
a priority.
2. We conduct signature petitions and rallies and get lots and lots
of people to understand why we must save tigers.
3. We learn about the tiger, its behaviour and its habitat and learn
that we must share our planet with this beautiful creature.
4. We go on nature trails to see wild creatures in their natural
homes.
5. We never visit zoos or circuses. We understand that every living
creature has the right to live in its natural home.
6. We never leave fans and lights on when not needed. The tiger's
home is being destroyed for hydel power projects to generate this
electricity.
7. We never leave our taps running at home. The tiger's home is
being cut down and we're losing our precious water absorbing sponges
- our trees.
8. We understand how everything in nature is linked, how our everyday
activities must not disrupt this web.
9. We spread the message about saving the tiger using our best talents
- singing, writing, dancing or acting.
Saving tigers is a way of life. It requires no special effort. It's
a part of who we are.
